The project has now entered a key final stage, with two modern electric RMG cranes equipped with Remote Operation System technology being lifted and installed. Construction is approximately 90% complete, with major infrastructure already in place:

Launched in June 2025, the project is scheduled for completion on 31 July 2026. Once completed, the expanded terminal will deliver greater handling capacity, faster container handling, and more efficient train and truck operations, further strengthening METRANS’ position in Central Europe.

Project “Improving the efficiency of intermodal transport services through the expansion of the METRANS (Polonia) sp. z o.o. terminal infrastructure in Gądki near Poznań” co-financed by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (KPO).
