A new addition to terminal operations has arrived at METRANS Prague Terminal
On Tuesday, 12 May at 11:00, the ceremonial handover of a Class 731 locomotive took place at the Prague Terminal. The event was attended by Martin Hořínek, managing director at METRANS Rail, as well as Radek Šauer, managing director at Kladenská dopravní a strojní.
Designed primarily for shunting operations, the Class 731 locomotive plays a key role in ensuring efficient and flexible operations within terminal environments. From positioning containers to supporting daily operations, precision at this stage defines everything that follows.
