Agreement on the preparation of the reconstruction or extension of the Kwiatkowski Flyover in Gdynia
At the City Hall of Gdynia, in the presence of Minister Dariusz Klimczak and Deputy Ministers Jacek Karnowski MP and Stanisław Bukowiec, an agreement was signed between the City of Gdynia and the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways [GDDKiA] concerning the preparation of the reconstruction or extension of the Kwiatkowski Flyover and its connection with the planned Red Road. This is an important, concrete step towards investments that will determine the quality of life in the city – and the efficient functioning of the port.

This issue is particularly important for the Port of Gdynia, as the port and the city are inextricably linked: access infrastructure means everyday convenience for residents, safety, and a prerequisite for the stable development of the region’s economy. We are pleased that thanks to today’s agreement, Gdynia is gaining real influence on design solutions, and the preparatory process has a clear framework and a partnership based on competence.
We appreciate the consistency and effectiveness of the Gdynia local government and the good, substantive leadership of the Mayor of Gdynia, Aleksandra Kosiorek. This type of cooperation—between the city, road administration, and government institutions—is exactly what investments of strategic importance need.
