Baltic Hub has secured funding for a key intermodal transport project.
The Baltic Hub intermodal terminal electrification and modernization project has been selected for support by the Centre for EU Transport Projects. The Baltic Hub will receive funding exceeding PLN 220 million (approximately 50% of the entire project).

Baltic Hub is about to implement a comprehensive program covering three areas:
- modernization and expansion of terminal infrastructure,
- purchase of modern equipment,
- implementation of advanced telematics systems.
“The project responds to the needs of businesses using the TEN-T network – shipowners, logistics operators, rail carriers, and transport companies. Thanks to this investment, we will increase capacity, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the sustainability of transport. For our partners, this means better access to modern infrastructure, shorter operational times, greater international development potential, and real support for environmental goals. This is an important step towards further modernization of intermodal transport in Poland and the region,” the press release reads.
