TUDO for EU. Trade Union Digitalization Officers (TUDO) for Effective Trade Unions in the new digital world of work.

The “TUDO” project is all about empowering workers and their representatives as they navigate the rapidly changing landscape of digitalization in the workplace. This initiative brings together trade unions and social partners from 8 EU Member States and 2 Candidate Countries. Together, they are working to ensure that digital transformation in the workplace happens in a way that benefits everyone. 

The project is financed by the European Union, while beneficiary of this action is OPZZ – Ogolnopolskie Porozumienie Zwiazkow Zawodowych from Poland, together with the partners: GWU from Malta, CGLI from Italy, CATUS from Serbia, DISK from Turkey, MASZSZ from Hungary, FUNDATION MAYO from Spain, ZSSS from Slovenia, in addition to these seven partners, there are also 3 associate partners on the project, namely ETUC and EUROCADES from Belgium, and CARTEL ALFA from Romania. 

The TUDO project aims to strengthen the capacity of workers’ organizations across Europe to tackle employment challenges related to digitalization and changes in social dialogue, particularly following the COVID-19 crisis. The core objective is to build a permanent network of Trade Union Digitalization Officers (TUDOs) from 10 countries, providing them with thorough training on EU digitalization regulations.

The project started on 01.09.2023 and will last until 30.04.2025. Thought this period of 20 months, a numerous activities and objectives are implanted and wisely shared, such as: kick-off meeting, steering committee meeting, online dissemination conference, 2 online and 1 face-to-face training sessions organized within a framework of TUDO training course, online networking meetings of TUDO network and Working session aimed to prepare the Action plan. Additionally, TUDO will be visible online and widely shared within the online tools like infographics, video, dissemination article, newsletter, boosted posts on social media and digital workplace like a E-learning tool.
