SIM Factor launches SAMRT simulator at Rail STM
At the end of last month, a SMART simulator for Rail STM was launched in Tychy. The simulator is based on SIM Factor software, recreating a universal electric locomotive with the ability to run traction characteristics of Vectron EU44, Traxx and Dragon locomotives.
The extensive library of AI vehicles, wagons and other vehicles in the latest train editor will enable the creation of not only dedicated trainsets for the trainee, but also all trains controlled by the simulation. The installed virtual route database covers more than 7,000 km of routes in Poland. The simulator supports the latest version of the ETCS system.
The SMART simulator is based on the SIM Factor project’s proprietary design, has a dedicated audio system, instructor/trainee communication, gsm-r radio, 4k display system, recording of training sessions, Backoffice system and a full instructor station. We are delighted that Rail STM has joined the ranks of Polish SIM Factor simulator users – wrote in the company’s announcement.
