Schavemaker will build a second terminal in Poland
Schavemaker acquired 35 hectares in Mietkow with existing rail tracks of 7 km length, to develop the second rail terminal. The new rail terminal in Mietkow will be located just 11 kilometers from the current rail terminal in Katy Wroclawskie.

Through the acquisition of the second rail terminal, Schavemaker has just gained new opportunities to develop and expand railway freight services.” – said in a statements.
Schavemaker Group has commissioned the design of several projects on the acquired site, including the construction of a new container terminal, an intermodal semi-trailer reloading terminal, its own electrified railway station with multiple stabling tracks, warehouses up to 100.000 m2, manufacturing warehouses with railway tracks inside and infrastructure related to railway transport services.
