BSH puts into operation new logistics centre in Poland
BSH, Europe’s largest manufacturer of home appliances, is planning to increase its storage capacities in Poland. Within a month, it will commence operations at a new logistics centre in Łódź. The project was implemented by Panattoni.

A new logistics centre, developed for storing tumble dryer components, will be soon added to the storage capacities of BSH, the European leading specialist in producing home appliances. The facility, which has an area of more than 12,000 square metres, is placed within the Panattoni Park Business Center Łódź III. Its location is reliable for moving products abroad, in particular to Germany and Czechia, by using the A1 and A2 motorways as well as the railway network.
The logistics centre was developed by Panattoni, a specialist focused on constructing industrial and logistics property. It is the fourth project of the developer implemented on behalf of BSH. Earlier, the developer completed the following facilities:
- the largest home appliance factory on the continent with an area of 57,000 square metres;
- the dedicated logistics centre with an area of up 80,000 square metres with two railway sidings, three stabling tracks and a railway station with a 590-metre-long platform;
- the Appliance Park with an area of 30,000 square metres, which is dedicated to the use of the factory’s component suppliers.
