Austrian logistics provider Cargo-Partner is continuing to intensify its activities in Slovakia. It has again increased the capacity of its distribution terminal in Dunajská Streda, close to the country’s capital. The new extension will allow the company to add more pallet slots per square metre.

The iLogistics Center, Cargo-Partner’s warehouse in Dunajská Streda, has been extended with an additional 5,200 pallet slots to meet the high demand for warehousing services in Slovakia and the nearby countries of the region. “This investment helps us to utilise the full 14.5-metre clear height of the warehouse hall and to increase the number of pallet slots per square metre,” the Austrian logistics provider explained its decision. The extension was carried out in two stages: 3,600 pallet slots were added in summer and 1,600 pallet slots in October.

In summer 2020, Cargo-Partner also added 3,600 new pallet slots. After all recent extensions, the company’s distribution terminal in Dunajská Streda offers 30,300 pallet slots on 18,300 square metres of storage space, including a 3,300-square-metre bonded warehouse. This is the result of the previous extension, which took place a year ago. Moreover, the total land area of 60,000 square metres allows a potential future expansion by another hall. It is worth noting that the iLogistics Center, due to its direct connection to the Metrans rail container terminal, provides railway access to most major seaports in Europe as well as fast connections from China via the New Silk Road.
