PEKAES boosts LTL freight between Poland and Greece
To meet the customer requirements, PEKAES has intensified its road haulage services between Poland and Greece. It added the second weekly connection between the two countries. The company’s trucks run between Silesia and two major Greek cities, Thessaloniki and Athens.
PEKAES, the Polish leading logistics operator, has been providing regular groupage services between Poland and Greece for over two years. Due to the growing demand among the customers, the company increased the frequency of the connection, which is mainly used for delivering spare parts, machines, electronic and digital devices, household appliances, textiles and toys.
“As a result of the huge popularity of this direction and the constantly growing volumes, we have decided to extend our offer with a new connection to Thessaloniki and Athens, which departs every Tuesday from our terminal in Czechowice-Dziedzice (in Silesian Voivodeship – IntermodalNews.eu),” said Marek Tkaczyk, International Network Director of PEKAES.
More options
The Poland – Greece LTL service of PEKAES provides customers with more options besides direct delivery. On the one hand, the logistics company offers competitive freight rates and complex customs services in its own customs agencies and points located throughout Poland (eg., Szczecin, Gdynia, Warsaw, etc.). Due to cooperation with a Greek partner, PEKAES enables shipments across Greece as well as to Cyprus.
