RZD Logistics has extended the range of goods to export by rail. The logistics provider of Russian Railways sent the first batch of ice cream from Russia to three provinces in China.

Ice scream was loaded in autonomous reefer containers and departed by rail from Selyatino station in the Moscow region towards the Port of Vladivostok. Thence, the boxes will be delivered by sea to three destinations in China: Qingdao, Shanghai and Dalian. The entire route was organised by RZD Logistics within the Agroexpress service.

The first delivery of ice cream to China was carried out in a test mode. RZD Logistics intends to make the service regular. It is worth noting that the export of Russian agricultural products is supported by the government. Earlier, RZD Logistics delivered dairy products by rail to China.
