Denmark-headquartered logistics group FREJA achieved a milestone in expanding its haulage fleet in Poland. As of today, the company operates 1,000 tractor units, which are mostly based in Szczecin.

“We have achieved our goal in expanding the FREJA Polska fleet to 1,000 tractor units,” noted Paweł Ślizowski, director of the transport department at the Polish subsidiary of the Danish logistics group. This was made possible by the acquisition of 100 tractor units of the Scania R 450 Highline type in 2020 and early 2021. Scania delivered the latest, 100th, vehicle to the logistics company at the end of March.

FREJA Polska chose the Scania R 450 Highline tractor units due to their reliability for customers and comfort for employees such as spacious cabs with the Opticruise automatic gearbox and high-power retarder, premium seats and automatic air conditioning. In addition, drivers will receive the necessary training courses to use the vehicle systems and driving economy within the Scania Fleet Management and Ecolution packages, which are provided by the lorry manufacturer.
